For the first time ever Holi-Yay Celebrations and Alpha-Lit Detroit present Black Santa Detroit. Black Santa Detroit is a photo experience that embraces joy, family, and tradition, all while showing that Blackness belongs in the magic of Christmas. Bring your little ones to experience a Christmas that looks, feels, sounds like and represents them. Meet Santa and receive a two (2) premium digital photos with Santa. We’re here to spread all the inclusive, holiday cheer. 

Holi-Yay Celebrations and Alpha-Lit Detroit have donated this event to the Detroit community in loving memory of their business partner, Roosevelt D. Smith. He loved the Christmas season and spread holiday cheer to all he encountered. Holi-Yay Celebrations and Alpha-Lit Detroit are keeping his memory alive through this event by offering free family portraits. Roosevelt was a proud supporter of Detroit PAL, a nonprofit youth after-school organization. Please consider making a donation in his memory. 

About Detroit PAL

Detroit PAL is a non-profit organization positively impacting the lives of approximately 10,000 youth participants each year. In partnership with the Detroit Police Department and community volunteers, Detroit PAL is helping area boys and girls find their greatness through athletic, academic, and leadership development programs. The organization also trains and certifies more than 1,000 volunteers each year to become encouraging coaches and mentors to the city’s youth.
